A hand poke tattoo is a tattoo created the old-school way — no machines, just a single needle and a lot of love! Each design is made by gently poking ink into the skin, dot by dot, creating a unique, intimate, and often minimalist vibe. It’s slower, quieter, and has the charm that feels more personal and soulful — like wearable art with extra heart!

Pain is different for everyone, but most people are pleasantly surprised by how minimal the discomfort is during a handpoke tattoo. In fact, some even find the process so relaxing that they drift off to sleep! Many describe the sensation as similar to plucking your eyebrows—gentle and manageable.
If this is your first tattoo, we’d love to know so we can make the experience extra special and comfortable for you!

Strict Queensland laws state you must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed, even with a parent or guardian present. Your ID may be checked upon arrival, so ensure you bring it to your appointment.

A hand poke tattoo takes a little bit longer than a machine tattoo, but that’s part of the charm!
Most of my appointments take usually 1.5-4h (including all the time we need to talk, check the design and do some changes, explain everything etc.) For very tiny designs appointments take up to an hour. If you’d like to book two or a few tattoos or a bigger piece I can also book for a half day or full day session!
Think of it like slow-cooked art — carefully crafter, dot by dot! Feel free to bring anything that makes you comfortable—headphones, snacks, or something to keep you entertained. Your appointment is a relaxed, unrushed experience, and I simply ask for the same patience in return. I’m here to make it as enjoyable and comfortable for you!

I am happy to tattoo hands/fingers and feet. However, I do not tattoo:
Sides of fingers
Bottoms of feet
This is because tattoos tend to be harder to heal properly due to friction/constant use of these areas.
-
No, sorry I don’t work with cover ups.
-
The short answer is no. There is always risk of infection when you get a tattoo and because of the lack of studies done on if it is safe, I do not want to risk it and will not tattoo anyone pregnant or breast feeding
-
Touch ups are always free.
Sometimes a little portion of the design can fade/fall out. As we are tattooing live cells, which can almost heal the ink out of the skin. It can happen for a number of different reasons.
If you need one just follow the link HERE and select “Touch Up” to pick a date and time that works for you.
